Welcome to We Can Be – a platform we've been building, testing, and refining with one goal: to make entrepreneurship education accessible, exciting, and genuinely useful for young people.
This isn't another website with a list of articles. It's a full learning ecosystem – courses, interactive tools, real founder stories, AI coaching, and everything a young person needs to go from "I have an idea" to "I'm actually doing it."
Why we built We Can Be
The numbers tell a stark story. 81% of young people can't name a single female entrepreneur. Girls' confidence drops sharply between ages 11 and 14. By the time they reach GCSE age, many have already decided that "business isn't for people like me."
There's no shortage of talent or ambition. What's missing is visibility, access, and the kind of support that meets young people where they are. We built We Can Be to fill that gap – with content that's age-appropriate, genuinely engaging, and rooted in real-world skills that matter regardless of whether someone goes on to start a business.
Our mission: Every young person – regardless of background, gender, or postcode – should have the tools, role models, and confidence to explore what they're capable of. We Can Be exists to make that possible, with a free plan to get started and affordable lifetime access for those ready to go further.
Three age-tailored courses
We Can Be features three structured learning tracks, each designed for a specific age group with age-appropriate language, activities, and challenges:
Pioneers (Ages 9–11)
An introduction to entrepreneurial thinking through playful challenges, creative projects, and stories of real founders. Modules cover ideas, branding, money basics, and selling – all through a lens of curiosity and fun.
Innovators (Ages 12–14)
A deeper dive into business skills including market research, customer discovery, pricing strategy, and brand identity. Interactive tools help learners build real business plans step by step.
Trailblazers (Ages 15–18)
For teens ready to take their ideas seriously. Covers pitching, financial planning, legal structures, marketing strategy, and leadership. Designed to feel like a real accelerator programme.
Each course includes interactive activities, quizzes, creative challenges, and a badge system that rewards progress. Modules are designed to be completed independently or with a parent, teacher, or group. The first module of each course is available free as a taster – full access to all modules requires a paid plan.

250+ real female founder role models
You can't be what you can't see. That's why We Can Be includes a searchable library of over 170 real female founders from every industry – tech, fashion, food, social enterprise, science, sport, and more.
Each profile tells the founder's story in an accessible, inspiring way: how they started, what challenges they faced, and what makes them stand out. Role models are integrated directly into course modules, so learners meet real founders at every stage of their journey.
81% of young people can't name a female entrepreneur. Our Role Models Library is here to change that – making real founder stories visible, relatable, and part of every learning experience.
Blaze – your AI business coach
Blaze 🔥 is We Can Be's built-in AI business coach. Think of it as a friendly, always-available mentor that helps young people work through their ideas, solve problems, and build confidence – all in a safe, age-appropriate space.
Blaze doesn't do the work for you. It asks the right questions, suggests approaches, and encourages critical thinking. Whether a young person is stuck on a business name, unsure how to price a product, or needs help planning a pitch, Blaze is there to guide – not replace – their thinking. Free plan users get three Blaze chats per day, while paid plans include unlimited coaching.
The Shop
The We Can Be Shop features curated books and workbooks for young entrepreneurs – practical resources to support learning beyond the platform.
Built for educators too (coming soon)
We Can Be isn't just for home use. We're building a dedicated Educators Hub designed to bring entrepreneurship into the classroom. Here's what's planned:
