Why I wrote Maya’s story
Through my work supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs, I’ve seen how much it matters to have people who take your ideas seriously.
I wanted girls to encounter that encouragement earlier, through a character they could get to know and real women who show what’s possible.
So I wrote Maya’s adventure. I hope it makes room for plenty of their own.
